Application:
    Ships which are equipped with the required communication equipment in accordance with the relevant international conventions and/or national rules and regulations and ships which the competent authority may require to be governed by the VTS

Channels:
    the south channel: 1. from Taohua Island lighthouse to Tunizui lighthouse, with the connection line of the following 6 waypoints as its central line, from which extends 1 nm to both sides as the channel’s width. 2. natural water area limits for those channels with the width less than 2 nm.

1 Taohua island lighthouse bearing 000°, distance 1.0 nmiles, course 320°;
2 Shangliuwangzhong island lighthouse bearing 245°, distance 0.3 nmiles, course 333°;
3 Xiaoyangmao lighthouse bearing 245°, distance 1.1 nmiles, course 300°;
4 Zhitou bearing 180°, distance 2.5 nmiles, course 270°;
5 Luotoujiao lighthouse bearing 035°, distance 0.7 nmiles, course 315°;
6 Tunizui lighthouse bearing 207°, distance 1.0 nmiles, course 240°.

1. Vessels proceeding along the south channel should broadcast their movements as
     soon as possible to avoid meeting other vessels near Xialanshan waters when they
     are approaching Shangliuwangzhongdao lighthouse.
2. There is a ferry line between the north mouth of Chuanshan and Yadanshan.
     Vessels proceeding west-bound on the Luotou channel should observe the ferry’s
     movements to avoid close-quarters situation.
3. There is a 14-meter sallow water area at the right east of Huangniujia
     lighthouse in Beilun Port area, about 1.7 nm away. Vessels with deep draughts
     should avoid this area.

    Sometimes the current at Jintang and Qili anchorage is very strong, vessels should pay full attention to it..
